Reporting Lost TimeOccasionally we find that an injured worker has not returned to work as expected and we aren't notified about their relapse. You, the employer, can help us more effectively manage the claim by notifying MAI as soon as a situation like this comes to your attention. Please notify your claims analyst immediately if any of the following situations exist:
In order for MAI to be effective in medically managing your claims, it is important that we are made aware of any issues relating to your injured worker's return to work. It is also very important that the actual return to work date be provided, even if the injured worker missed less than 7 days. This is a requirement of the BWC and is necessary to accurately track lost days from work. |
